This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the paid subscription and ad-free versions of the VPN services (“Premium Services”) provided by Neonetworks Solution Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), incorporated in Hong Kong. It governs how we handle information across our website at vpnifyapp.com and our dedicated Premium applications on Android (Google Play and direct APK distribution), iOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux.

The Premium Services operate strictly as an ad-free environment with no advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party behavioral trackers embedded in the application binaries.

1. Absolute Zero-Logs Guarantee

We enforce an uncompromising zero-logs architecture for all Premium tunnel connections:

  • Zero Browsing Activity Logs: We never inspect, monitor, intercept, record, or retain logs of the websites you visit, DNS queries executed, destinations accessed, online applications used, or data payloads transmitted.
  • Zero Connection Metadata: We do not record original/source IP addresses, assigned VPN exit IP addresses, connection start/end timestamps, or individual session durations.
  • Stateless Network Operations: Our VPN nodes run statelessly. When your encrypted tunnel disconnects, all active state data vanishes from volatile memory immediately.

Because our servers retain no records, we cannot correlate any online activity, timestamp, or external network event to a specific Premium user account.

2. Information We Process

We restrict data collection to the minimum required to authenticate access, verify active subscriptions, and deliver service updates.

A. Account Credentials

  • Username & Password: Accounts are authenticated using a chosen username and password. We never view or store passwords in plaintext; credentials are encrypted and stored solely as cryptographically salted hashes.

B. Payments & In-App Subscriptions

All financial processing is handled off-site by dedicated billing platforms:

  • Google Play In-App Billing (Google LLC)
  • Apple App Store In-App Purchases (Apple Inc.)
  • Pebble & Credit/Debit Card Gateways
  • Cryptocurrency Processors

We never receive, process, or store payment card numbers, bank account details, or cryptocurrency private keys. We receive only non-identifying transaction verification tokens and expiration timestamps to validate your Premium status.

C. System Permissions (Functional Only)

Our desktop and mobile clients request standard operating system permissions strictly necessary to establish the VPN tunnel:

  • VPN Service / Network Extensions: Required by Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and Linux to instantiate the virtual network adapter and encapsulate network traffic.
  • Network & Connectivity State: Checked locally by the client to support auto-connect and kill-switch safeguards when connectivity drops.
  • Notifications (Optional): Used locally to display connection status indicators.
  • Package Installer (Direct Android APK Only): Used solely to enable seamless updates for users who install our standalone APK builds.

D. Customer Support & osTicket

If you reach out to our technical support team, communications are processed on our self-hosted osTicket platform. We retain ticket correspondence only as long as necessary to address your issue, after which records are routinely purged.

E. Website Analytics & App Diagnostics

  • Website Analytics: Our marketing website uses Google Analytics to assess aggregate traffic volume. You can block these cookies via browser settings or browser content blockers.
  • Crash Diagnostics (Client Apps): Mobile clients may use Google Firebase to capture non-identifying crash stack traces (e.g., operating system version, device hardware model) to assist with bug resolution. Firebase does not have access to decrypted payloads or browsing sessions.

3. Dedicated Infrastructure & Server Partners

Our routing nodes, bare-metal hardware, and API infrastructure are deployed across trusted data center providers worldwide:

These providers supply hardware capacity and network transit. No third-party infrastructure partner has access to customer payloads, and all nodes strictly follow our stateless configuration.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR & Global Frameworks)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or similar privacy jurisdictions, data is processed under the following lawful bases pursuant to GDPR Article 6:

  • Contract Performance: Processing your credentials and validating purchase receipts to provide continuous Premium VPN service.
  • Legitimate Interests: Securing our network infrastructure and analyzing aggregate crash diagnostics to ensure client stability.
  • Consent: Applied where you opt to accept optional analytics cookies on our landing pages.

5. International Data Transfers

Neonetworks Solution Limited is incorporated in Hong Kong. By using our Services, your information may be processed across infrastructure located globally. Where cross-border data transfers occur, we implement recognized contractual safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable, to ensure adequate levels of data protection.

6. Data Retention & User Rights

  • Account Credentials: Stored until you delete your account or request account termination.
  • VPN Tunnel Data: 0 seconds. Never logged, written to persistent storage, or retained.
  • Your Rights: You have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of your account credentials.

7. Children’s Privacy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the free, ad-supported tier of our VPN applications (“Free Services”) operated by Neonetworks Solution Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), incorporated in Hong Kong, and distributed across mobile platforms (including Google Play, direct Android APK packages, and the Apple App Store).

The Free Services provide zero-logs VPN connectivity funded by in-app advertisements. This document details how third-party advertising frameworks operate alongside our VPN tunnel.

1. Zero-Logs Guarantee on VPN Traffic

Our commitment to VPN privacy is identical on both Free and Premium tiers:

  • Zero Browsing Activity Logs: We never record, inspect, log, or store your browsing history, destination URLs, DNS lookups, online services accessed, or transmitted data payloads.
  • Zero Connection Metadata: We do not collect or log incoming IP addresses, assigned VPN exit IP addresses, connection timestamps, or connection durations.
  • Stateless Tunnel Architecture: Your VPN tunnel operates statelessly in volatile memory. No residual connection footprints exist once disconnected.

Because we do not log browsing behavior or IP-to-user mappings, we cannot link individual network activities back to specific users.

2. Advertising Framework & Mediation Partners

To keep our basic VPN tier free, our mobile applications integrate third-party advertising SDKs.

A. Mediation Architecture

We utilize TradPlus as our ad mediation platform. TradPlus dynamically coordinates ad display requests between our app and verified advertising demand partners, including:

  • Google AdMob (Google LLC)
  • Bigo Ads (Bigo Technology Pte. Ltd.)
  • Liftoff / Vungle (Liftoff Mobile, Inc.)
  • Mintegral (Mobvista Inc.)
  • zMaticoo

B. Data Handling by Advertising SDKs

  • We do not sell, disclose, or pass personal information to advertising partners. Advertisers do not receive your username, account details, email address, or VPN traffic details from us.
  • Direct SDK Data Collection: The advertising networks operate their own SDKs within our client apps, which collect technical device-level data directly in accordance with their independent privacy policies. This data may include:
    • Android Advertising ID (GAID / AAID): Used on Android devices for attribution, impression counting, frequency capping, and ad relevance (where consented).
    • Device Specifications: Hardware model, screen resolution, operating system version, system language, and battery level.
    • Ad Performance Metrics: Ad views, impressions, clicks, video completion rates, and technical loading performance.
  • iOS Non-Personalized Delivery: On Apple iOS, we do not request cross-app tracking permissions via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. All advertisements served on iOS are non-personalized and contextual.

C. Tunnel Routing of Ad Requests

Ad delivery requests and ad media are routed through the active, encrypted VPN tunnel along with your regular device traffic. The embedded advertising SDKs run strictly at the application layer and have no capability or permission to inspect, log, or monitor your encrypted VPN traffic or external web browsing sessions.

3. Consent Management (Google UMP / GDPR / US Privacy)

We provide comprehensive user control over advertising preferences in accordance with regional privacy laws (including GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and US state privacy regulations):

  • Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): In applicable jurisdictions (such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we integrate Google’s certified UMP consent framework, supporting the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF v2.2).
  • Granular Choices: When you first launch the app, you are presented with explicit options to accept or refuse personalized advertising cookies and device identifiers.
  • Adjusting Preferences Anytime: You can change or revoke your advertising consent preferences at any time by navigating to App Settings > Privacy / Consent Settings (UMP) within the mobile application.
  • Ad-Free Option: You can eliminate all third-party advertising SDKs entirely by upgrading to a paid Premium subscription.

4. Account Credentials & Client Telemetry

  • Account Registration: You may create an account using a username and password. Passwords are saved exclusively as cryptographically salted hashes and are never stored in plaintext.
  • Crash Telemetry: Free versions incorporate Google Firebase to gather aggregate crash data and stability metrics (stack traces, device models). Firebase does not monitor VPN traffic or destination data.
  • App Permissions: The app requests required system permissions solely to operate the network tunnel (VPN service binding, network connectivity observation to handle reconnects, and optional notifications for tunnel status).

5. Infrastructure Partners

API calls and VPN tunnel traffic route across our global data center fleet, including Hetzner, OVHcloud, Leaseweb, DigitalOcean, Vultr, and M247. None of these partners have access to unencrypted payloads, and all nodes operate under our stateless, zero-logs protocol.

6. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA / UK Users)

  • Contract Performance: Authenticating your free account and establishing the VPN tunnel.
  • Consent: Processing device identifiers (such as GAID) for personalized ads via the Google UMP consent banner.
  • Legitimate Interests: Serving non-personalized contextual ads to fund the free service, preventing ad fraud, verifying impression counts, and maintaining app stability via crash reports.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Free Services are strictly designed for users aged 13 and older (or 16 and older where required by local regulations). We do not knowingly display targeted advertising to or collect personal information from children. If an account is identified as belonging to an underage user, it will be deleted immediately.
